Updating the look for InterCity Maintenance meant keeping their colors and font, but adding a new icon. Inspired by the De Stijl movement, this icon uses isometric buildings like the ones seen in SimCity. Made into a silhouette, each of the three parts represents the diversity of InterCity’s scope: small, medium and large structures. The negative form represents InterCity itself, linking them together in a bond of comprehensive care. The negative space is a subtle nod to one of the symbols of Chicago.
