Inspired by the concept of “Gardenlightenment,” a term coined specifically for the brand, this logo brings in elements derived from images of nirvana. The glowing petals were found in paintings of the Buddha, and the Gothic form of the central purple shape is derived from a cathedral. All of this had to combine into a non-specific form of a flower opening as it grows, symbolizing the inner peace that is created from the act of gardening.
This logo was produced while working as a freelance designer at BatesMeron Sweet Design. Logo colors were informed by the client’s own in-house designer.
